Update

It's been a little while since we've updated, we've gotten a lot done and are extremely close to moving in soon. 

We hired out the mudding of the sheetrock and it turned out really well.

We did the painting ourselves 

Trim work 

Electric heaters in each room

Light/fan in the main living room 

Lights in the media room

We hired out the sanding of the floors as well and it turned out amazing

We made the rails and banisters from scratch and they turned out really good

We are very close to being done hopefully we will be moving in in less than a month!

Sheetrock'n

Passed the Rough Inspection

What a relief!!! We passed the rough plumbing and electrical inspections. Finishing up the chinking inside today. And then (drum roll please) we are on to sheetrock, starting to see the end in sight.

Framing

We over half way finished with the framing.

We are adding a storage area over the upstairs bathroom and a closet.

A Much Overdue Update

By the end of October we finished up on the outside of the cabin, that is except for the porches.  Here are some pictures.
